• You will provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Artists must upload a valid proof of legitimacy as described above.
• Your account will be reviewed by an admin before being published and made public.
• Collectors and artists must respect the community guidelines and copyright laws.
• All artworks uploaded to the platform remain the intellectual property of the artist. However, by uploading, you grant Hulagway a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your work on the platform. Additionally, Hulagway will apply a watermark to all uploaded artworks to prevent unauthorized use or theft. By uploading, you consent to this watermarking process.
• Hulagway will charge a commission fee for each successful sale made through the platform:
  • Painters: 20% commission on the sale price.
  • Photographers: 15% commission on the sale price.
  • Digital Artists: 18% commission on the sale price.
  • Mixed Media Artists: 20% commission on the sale price.
• Any fraudulent activity, including copyright infringement, will result in account suspension or removal.
• Hulagway is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers but will mediate in good faith to resolve issues.

Important - Terms for Collectors & Bidders

• Bidding creates a binding obligation. When you place a bid or make an offer you understand that if you are the highest bidder or your offer is accepted, you are obligated to complete the purchase.
• Payment window: Winning bidders must pay within 48 hours of notification unless another timeframe is stated. Failure to pay may lead to relisting the item, administrative fees, and suspension of account privileges.
• Cancellation Window: Collectors may request an order cancellation within 24 hours from the time the sale is confirmed (or within the platform's displayed payment/verification window). Cancellations requested after the 24-hour window will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and require approval by both the seller (artist) and HULAGWAY; such requests may be denied and may incur administrative fees.
• Refund Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days (1 week) from the date of purchase or delivery, as applicable. Refunds submitted after this timeframe may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional situations but are not guaranteed. Approved refunds may be subject to restocking, administrative, or payment-processing fees.
• How requests are handled: When a cancellation or refund is requested, the platform will notify the seller (artist) to review the request. The seller may be asked to provide proof (e.g., delivery proof, images). The seller's decision is considered by HULAGWAY; final processing (including issuing refunds) is performed by the platform or the payment processor following our verification and fraud checks.
• Consequences of non-payment: Hulagway may charge cancellation or administrative fees, relist the item, and record the incident on your account. Repeated violations may lead to permanent suspension.
• Chargebacks & disputes: Do not initiate a chargeback for legitimate transactions. Chargebacks may result in account restrictions and recovery actions.
• Shipping & risk: Review shipping terms on the listing. Unless otherwise stated, risk of loss passes to the buyer when the seller hands the package to the carrier. Consider insured shipping for high-value purchases.
• Good conduct: Collusive bidding, shill bidding, or attempts to manipulate auctions are strictly prohibited and may lead to permanent suspension and legal action.
• Verification: Hulagway may request identity verification, proof of payment, or other documentation for high-value transactions. Refusal may block participation in auctions or purchases.
